The business is run by Polly McDougall who has more than 12 years’ experience in communications and marketing.
Before starting Eddy May Communications, Polly worked at Charles Sturt University (CSU) in both the marketing and social media teams, working to build the University’s reputation and strengthen student recruitment.
Polly also worked for five years at Sauce Communications as an Account Director developing and executing communication strategies for clients in agribusiness and rural industries. Before that, Polly worked at a public relations agency in Sydney managing media relations and marketing communications for international IT companies and entrepreneurial Australian technology businesses. She is also a Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) NSW Golden Target Award winner.
Above all, Polly is passionate about helping regional businesses, promoting regional areas and Australia’s agricultural industries.
Polly lives on a farm near Ardlethan in the Riverina region of NSW with her daughter and husband.
